Also noted elsewhere in my profile is the fact that I am married. I completely understand if that circumstance causes you to reject me instantly, without further consideration. I really do. All I ask is that you withhold your judgment or at least inquire about my situation before you conclude—as many of you seem to do in a trice—that I am either a sleazy unprincipled sex hound simply looking for a bit more physical gratification on the side, or, what seems to be an even more damning indictment here on the site, a coward trapped in a miserably unhappy marriage and lacking the courage to escape it. Neither of those characterizations apply to me and, while I am sure some of this judgment comes from hard-earned and frequently painful experience on your part, I would suggest that there may be more married men on this site who fail to fit that stereotype than you think. None of this in any way, shape, or form is intended to suggest that you are under any compunction to rethink your opposition to married men on principle. Just understand that life is a complicated business and we're all here for a variety of reas, regardless of our marital status.
